These special pruning shears are made to cut strong branches without effort. If desired, a grafting groove can also be made in the branch.
What is "grafting" a plant?
Plants can be propagated by grafting them. This involves attaching part of a plant (the scion) to part of another plant (the rootstock).
The technique is often used to "improve" the plant , for example rose buds on a wild rootstock.
After grafting, the graft is tied with grafting band / tape. It is also possible to wrap the graft with cling film, but we all know that this is not sustainably degradable.
